Established in 2000
A matching grant helped fund the establishment of a new training center at Universidad Catolica Medical School in La Vega.  The manikins, defibrillators and other training aides were used for many classes between the visits of our teaching teams.  They are to be used at the University as well as being carried to classes at remote locations.  Each of 3 teaching trips included classes at the medical school as well as a class at another city in central Dominican Republic. Rotarians in the Dominican Republic are furnishing most of the funding for this matching grant. 

We expect to continue our work in the Dominican Republic over the next several years.
